Hello! It's been a while since I've updated this website, and I've realized that I've got SO MANY BOOKS that I have to reorganize a little bit. Plus, this site was built on WordPress tech that was cutting-edge circa 2018 when I still worked as a developer, but I've ignored web dev tools since then, so the seams are about to burst (or in tech speak, the updates aren't playing well with each other).
However, I still have duty of care to provide good info to you all, so here we go: I have FOUR (4!) releases in 2026, and at least two for 2027. Those are:
Star Wars: Outlaws - Low Red Moon (February 3): Prequel to the Star Wars: Outlaws video game about ND-5 and Jaylen Vrax featuring a whole bunch of underworld goodness. Note that you do NOT have to play the game to enjoy this, as it works as a standalone underworld/ISB title. Preorder receipts can nab you a free book plate and you can meet me in San Francisco to get a signed book in person!
The Photonic Effect (April 21): Original space opera inspired by my genre favorites, including Star Trek, Mass Effect, and Robotech. I'll be at Books Inc Palo Alto on April 21 with Annalee Newitz (RSVP for free) and Belmont Library on May 9 with Andrea Stewart (free to attend) for this launch.
Critical Role: The Mighty Nein - Stories Untold (August 11): Anthology for Critical Role's second campaign. I have a short story about beloved shopkeeper Pumat Sol taking place shortly after the encounter at the Chantry of the Dawn.
Of Sorcery and Science (September): My YA debut formerly known as A Magical Science, about a high schooler who disappeared for a few days into a fantasy realm where he learned magic and became a big hero, only to come home and find that trig tests and college applications are still a thing.
